TravelStorys

Please check out my mobile app, TravelStorys, an innovative storytelling tool that entertains users traveling through special places and helps to raise money for the nonprofit organizations working to protect those places and support their local communities.

This exciting mobile app gives travelers a new way to enjoy the surrounding landscape. GPS-triggered audio stories, which combine engaging, entertaining narration with music, images, text and other interesting links, accompany you along your route.

Download the app for free on the App Store or Google Play or go to TravelStorys.com to learn more.

Here's how it works:

Download the free app and choose a tour to either enjoy on-site or remotely. The tour discovery screen will show you the tours closest to you, but you can enjoy the audio narration, images, and links of any of the tours from the comfort of your own home.

Because the TravelStorys app is compatible with any mode of travel from walking and biking to driving, paddling, riding a bus or ferry you'll see a wide variety of tours on the list.

As you approach each story site, the audio will automatically trigger! There's no need to look at your phone or interact with it. In fact, the best way to enjoy a tour, if it's a walking tour, is to attach earbuds and pocket your phone. If it's a driving (or paddling or biking) tour, plug the phone into your car speakers. Eyes on the road, not on your phone!

TravelStorys partners with a wide range of organizations, agencies, and businesses to create new tours anywhere in the country. Tours can include customized channels to meet the partner's specific needs.

The app also includes a built-in voluntary donation feature, which can be employed to benefit a local charity associated with the route. The app user is guided through a very simple process to give a small donation to the charity.
